"Everything works better when you unplug it for a while ... even you!"

Glamping Unplugged welcomes you to experience WINTER CAMPING in a heated, luxury, eco-friendly Geodesic Dome sitting on 8.5 acres with 1200+ feet of state-stocked trout stream. An Instagram worthy Glamping experience and eco-nature escape.

Follow us @glampingunplugged

Unplug To Recharge. Recharge to reboot your own batteries. We ask you to choose Nature over electronics. The only thing calling you on property is Nature! Located 15 mins west of Boone North Carolina.

Enjoy our new take on primitive camping! We call it camping simplified and welcome you

to enjoy the experience!

No WiFi (plug into nature). No plumbing (BYO H2O). No electricity (USB Power Banks. Provided to Recharge Lights & Fan). NO PROBLEM! We have thought of everything. Unplug from life and recharge!

Glamping Unplugged is primitive camping at an unprecedented level. And we will not disappoint! We have created a space for your much-needed digital detox on a beautiful tract of land that allows for the utmost privacy. Immerse yourself in nature and unplug ... step a few inches outside of your comfort zone and you will thank us later.

Arrive to a king bed with cozy clean sheets steps from a noisy state-stocked trout stream. A high-end cooler is your fridge. A Weber charcoal grill is your kitchen. USB powered lighting and power chargers are provided in addition to linens, pillows, towels and toilet paper. Screens for the windows and a USB & solar powered fan are your A/C. We provide biodesgradeable camping towlettes for cleaning and deodorizing your body, most guests take a dip in the creek (but no soaps allowed) and, of course, there is a port-o-john for our toilet. You will have everything you need to Glamp in an Instagram type environment!

For a limited time, if you share social media quality photos with us of you enjoying your family's "Unplugged" time away from the stresses of every day life and away from all things internet and iPads, we will be refunding some rents and/or grandfathering our founding campers into our return-program! Or share on social media yourself @glampingunplugged or Instagram #glampingunplugged

Why are weekdays so cheap? We want everyone to have a chance to experience an Instagram & social media-worthy vacation, if only for a night or two! We want feedback and plenty of it! We want to blow kid's minds! We are "proving a concept" today, curating a true experience for our future Glampers as we expand onto a 100 acre tract - become a founding camper!

We are pet friendly with a $50 pet fee (pre-approval required).

We require that you park just off a state-maintained road and hike 200 yards over the bridge and down a relatively level path to your Dome. You will then have 8.5 acres, 1200+ feet of rushing creek frontage! You will need to bring water, bathing suits, food and firewood for the outdoor fire pit and chimnea (guests can often source some firewood on property). In addition, there are some hiking trails off the property. Go explore! Unplug! Find Yourself. Find Each Other!

This was the absolute coolest airbnb we’ve stayed in, even being 28 degrees it was really nice being out in something unconventional and beside the noise of the river.

This is by far the most unique and beautiful place we have stayed. If you are adventurous and love the outdoors look no further. The creek flowing below the yurt was beautiful and the sound of the flowing water provided a very peaceful sleep. Having a stove indoors made this type of stay extremely cozy despite the 20 degree temperatures. 100% recommended!

We enjoyed every moment we had at the treehouse dome!! There wasn’t anything we did not enjoy, from the amazing location overlooking the river, to morning coffee on the hammocks, we left the dome feeling incredibly grateful for our stay! If you are wary of winter Glamping know that the wood fire stove kept us warm and cozy throughout the nights (which got down to the low 20s). As for our pups, they enjoyed every amenity the dome had to offer, especially the river!

I have stayed in several AirBnbs over the years traveling for work and I truly believe that @glampingunplugged was by far the best host out of them all. Words can't describe how amazing out winter getaway at Treehouse Dome was! The location was beautiful and the dome itself was amazing. We stayed during the first below freezing snowfall of the winter - the wood stove kept us warm and cozy all night and was easy to wake up to and make coffee. All three of our dogs enjoyed splashing around in the stream and hiking several local trails. We will definitely be return guests in the summer once the weather is warmer!

We had such a good time relaxing in nature. The creek is so loud! If you are on the fence, let me just say they make it so easy that anyone can do it! And you will be better for it. We hated to leave and will be repeat guests! Thank you Brady for your vision and @glampingunplugged
